Poetic-Verses
Janus
We are two-faced Janus,
Our left side faces the future; in war or peace we bleed;
The right dwells in the past- To love we pay no heed.
that stubbornly refuses to die.
The future pushes out the present;
We live only in our memories,
Or in our dreams..
The present to us is lost;
What a terrible cost!
Our greed is our need;
Hatred is our creed.
Our left side faces the future; in war or peace we bleed;
The right dwells in the past- To love we pay no heed.
that stubbornly refuses to die.
The future pushes out the present;
We live only in our memories,
Or in our dreams..
The present to us is lost;
What a terrible cost!
Our greed is our need;
Hatred is our creed.
