Patience of a Righteous FaithPsalm 125 Whoever has faith and trust in the Lord, Are just like the eagles that have soared; Above the mountains searching for prey, Never giving up his hope the entire day. The eagle knows that his needs are met, As he patiently waits for his meal to get; Same are with sheep that patiently wait, For the good shepherd to open the gate. You are like a mountain in having hope, That is giving strength while you cope; Unable to move as you are standing fast, Standing firm even when trouble is cast. An evil rod shall not rest on the righteous, Causing good men to go see an adulteress; For such a faith that the good man keeps, Has a mighty guardian that never sleeps. The Lord remembers all that does well, And in the righteous heart He will dwell; But those who have turned to evil ways, The Lord shall cast them out into the blaze.
