Light of the Body

Luke 11:29-36

It is an evil generation looking for a sign,
And no sign shall be given except for Jonah;
To the Ninevites he had become so divine,
So will the Son of man having such stamina.

The Queen from the South will come to judge,
And to give her decisions against all of us;
For she came from afar carrying no grudge,
With Wisdom of Solomon for all to hear thus.

As the men of Nineveh shall come some day,
In preaching of Jonah turned them from sin;
But one greater than Jonah lights the way,
To brighten you up from deep down within.

No man hides the light when it becomes lit,
Whosoever enters can see the radiant bright;
The eye is the light of the body and spirit,
Shines truth on evil and darkness to light.

So take care that your light never goes out,
This would allow sinful darkness to return;
Then you would be sowing seeds of doubt,
Causing judgment on you to eternally burn.
