Citizens of HeavenPhilippians 3:20 Take me for an example and all who follow, Take note after the example we have given; For they are those who live in great sorrow, Being enemies of the cross and of Heaven. Their end is death and a god as their belly, Thoughts on earth as glory is their shame; They see all of us as being a little silly, For our beliefs in the Word as we proclaim. We are citizens of the Heavenly Kingdom, Where Jesus Christ is reigning as our King; As we wait for His return with His wisdom, On Judgment Day and a wrath He will bring. By whom these poor bodies being our shells, Within His glory in an image be transformed; The measure of the working as He compels, To subdue all things that are not conformed. As citizens of Heaven we wait for that day, Our Lord and Savior returning to this place; For Jesus Christ will come to take us away, As a shepherd to His sheep He will embrace.
