God is a refuge and strength in difficulty,
So we have no fear with a changing earth;
Or mountains moved in the heart of the sea,
Be still and know God and His full worth.
Though its waters are troubled sounding,
And mountains move violently in quakes;
As your problems seem so dumbfounding,
Be still and know God's comfort He makes.
There is a river whose streams as you rest,
Is the Holy Place for our God Most High;
And by the morning He will give you zest,
So be still and know that our God is nigh.
Nations were angered as kingdoms moved,
As He vocalized the earth became like wax;
For the Lord being with us and has proved,
To be still and know God so you can relax.
Come see His works with the destruction,
As He ends the wars all around the world;
He will be lifted up honored in exaltation,
So be still and know God's plan is unfurled.
