Spiritual Cleaning

Colossians 3:1-10

If you are born again then think of Heaven,
Where Christ sits on the right hand of God;
Think about all the blessings He has given,
As why you should always honor and laud.

He gives us things being higher than earth,
So to use once your life on earth is done;
As a secret life in Christ through rebirth,
For your salvation in Heaven has just begun.

When the coming of Christ who is our life,
You will be seen in Him in all of the glory;
Then put to death all the sorrow and strife,
As Christ himself being the judge and jury.

He will remove from the fleshy unclean body,
All of the passion, evil desires and envy;
As well as idolatry and other things shoddy,
Along with sins of the past that were heavy.

But now's the time to put away these things,
Prior to when God has come with His wrath;
Along with all of His angels that He brings,
Since better now to walk the righteous path.
