The Love We Have For Children

Poem by Bob W Raisbeck

Title .  The Love We Have For Children

TO MY GRANDSON COLBY

The love we have for children Is deeper, than life we know

First love is for our new born Who into toddlers grow

Then to little children Who steal our hearts away

Next as a teenager come and have there say

Then into adults they grow and from us do part

A new life is born a  Grandchild to light our heart

And this child so Pure and Strong

Gives us Happiness And Life ,Forever Long

Bob William Raisbeck JUNE 2004
