Title ... A Country Named IRAQ by Bob W Raisbeck
It was known as Persia in the very days of old
When the Turks ruled, when warriors were bold
Since the first Armed revolt of Nineteen Twenty
Has struggled for Independence with battles a plenty
Then the Dictator came his name was Hussein
The country was ruled Oppression remained
Until in the year of 2004 , when their Saviour
America and the Coalition came to their door
His name is George Bush with faith in his heart
Said until you have Independence we will not part
So the battle raged and the Dictator was removed
The people came out, voted and have approved
So IRAQ as this proud independent country is known today
Can get on with their lives when the battles fade away
As they hoist up the flag a proud Nation once a g a i n
They will say thank you , to all the forces ,for removing it`s pain .
