Sunbeams
Today I felt the sunbeams
Playing about my face
Darting and flitting
Shining all over the place
Until finally they rested
Soothingly upon my eyes
Magically they entered
Completely to my surprise
Quickly they descended
Down to the depths of my soul
Where their light and warmth
Comforted me so
Wisdom and knowledge
Deposited as gifts from my friends
Understanding and compassion too
A spirit to make amends
Yes sunbeams are friends
Warm and loving to me
Illuminating my heart
Allowing me to see
Love and kindness
Humility and grace
Are delivered by sunbeams
From a divine heavenly place
To strengthen my faith
Allow my spirit to grow
A precious reminder indeed
God loves me so
