Life's Book
"Life's Book"
There is a book
of days gone by
Pages filled with happiness
Pages that make you cry
Each time the book is read
Until the day we're gone
Some find pages of joy
Others, sadness that lingers on
In life's book
Each one has a page
Some with happiness
others with rage
For in the end
We have the same book
Different views of life
And how it should look
Never do we know
What lies ahead
Till the final chapter
Has been read.
