My mind just keeps on working
Storing things I've seen and read
And every so often I feel a need
To empty out my crowded head
So I have this box of words
A sort of dictionary stew
And I am always adding to it
When I learn any new
It sits on my desk
Nice and handy there
And once in a while
It gets it a gentle stir
When it gets so full
It won't take any more
I tip it on its side
And out some words pour
Just a nifty re arrangement
And there before you know it
The latest sage work
Of this deluded poet
This method may be slow
But it's the only one I know
As
My mind just keeps on working
Storing things I've seen and read
So that every so often I feel I need
To empty out my crowded head
