The One True God
I John 1:5-10
Unto each one of you this indeed I declare,
God is light and with not a bit of darkness;
If we say that we have joined Him to share,
Then He looks down on you in blessedness.
But if we are walking around in the dark,
Then we are united in the power of another;
And our journey is with Satan we embark,
Means that Jesus Christ is not your brother.
It is the blood of Christ to clean our sin,
And able to walk upon the righteous path;
As He's filling us up with His light within,
That will help us to avoid any of His wrath.
To say we have no sin only us we deceive,
The same to say of ever done nothing wrong;
For salvation is only for those who believe,
And reserve a place for us where we belong.
If we openly say of our misdeeds and admit,
Then God who is true be willing to forgive;
He is willing to cleanse us and to acquit,
And having a life ever lastingly to live.
