Proclaiming RighteousnessRomans 10:1-11 My heart desire and with my prayer to God, For a chance you may acquire His salvation; In witnessing you while I honor and laud, But without a knowledge of your reputation. It's just as you show a very strong desire, But not of knowledge of His righteousness; You need the Holy Spirit to light your fire, To rid yourself of despair and hopelessness. Just put your faith into Christ and the law, For by abiding in the law to give you life; And as you confess to each and every flaw, It will remove more and more of your strife. But righteousness is faith to say the words, Say not in your heart, who'll go to Heaven? That's for Christ to say and not us cowards; Upon His return when our salvation is given. Rather say being near your mouth and heart, As this is the Word of faith that we preach; Proclaim that Jesus is Lord for to impart, Upon every ear that your voice can reach.
