Sons of the ResurrectionLuke 20:34-38 The sons of this world in having wives, With children as born of their marriage; Trying to make something of their lives, And having a car with a nice little cottage. But whoever has been given their reward, And having returned back from the dead; No longer has a wife that is on the record, Being severed from all earthly ties instead. Death no longer has any power over them, Because they are now equal to the angels; No longer bound to earth or as condemn, Rather of a resurrection free of shackles. The sons of the resurrection sons of God, And now that as the dead have been raised; Respecting the Father with honor and laud, While His Holy name joyously be praised. Even Moses had stated that the dead return, He summoned God as a bush was burning; The promise of an inheritance we will earn, He is not God of the dead but of the living.
