A Prayer Of David.Psalm 17:1-7 Let my cause come to your ears, And give attention onto my cry; Ease the tension and my fears, As deception from my lips I deny. Be my judge since you see right, And put my heart through the test; Searching me throughout the night, Ensuring that there is no evil pest. I shall keep my mouth from all sin, As well as the evil from my eyes; The works of men do not enter in, Avoiding any violence in disguise. I have followed along your path, And have not even tried to stray; I cry out to spare me from wrath, Adhering to your words everyday. Absolve the wonder of your mercy, As I put my faith into your hand; That all who come out against me, I am ready to serve at your command.
