Poetic Verses Of Love And Sorrow
A Man Named Cliff

"A Man Named Cliff"
Was a man named Cliff
Waiting for his love
Then out of nowhere
She came from above
She grabbed him hard
And kissed his lips
He started to shake
Down to his fingertips
He looked at his feet
And there were four
He only needed two
So why were there more
He started to ask
Is this a joke
But all that came out
Was a big loud croak
Nothing left to do
But sit and wait
And tell the other frogs
Of his terrible fate
Should you see a frog
Sitting on a Lilly pad
Don't think of frog legs
That could be your dad.
Written for my friend Cliff
who cracks me up every time
he writes. Thanks for the laughs
my friend.
