Just Because

Just because,
no one has been fortunate enough to realize what a gold mine you are,
doesn't mean you shine any less,
for you are like a sparkling diamond,
shining for the entire world to see.
Just because,
no one has been smart enough to figure out that you can't be topped,
doesn't keep you from being the very best,
like ice cream with a cherry on top.
Just because,
no one has made this race worthwhile,
doesn't give you permission to quit running,
like a Timex you must keep on ticking.
Just because,
no one has realized just how much of an incredibly awesome person you are,
doesn't mean that they can affect you adversely,
for you are a winner no matter what others may say.
Just because,
no one has loved you nor accepted your love,
doesn't mean that you can stop wanting to be loved,
nor giving your love to another.
Just because,
you deserve the very best in life,
doesn't mean that life shall bestow it upon you,
so never give up your search for the very best life has to offer.
Just because,
God is still preparing your queen,
doesn't mean that you aren't already royalty,
so live like a king,
your queen will come.
Just because,
your situation seems hopeless,
doesn't mean that you should change your ways,
nor try something new,
for the best things in life take time to build,
and one day your dreams will come true.
Keep on shining,
never stop running nor trying to win the race,
keep your head up,
never quit dreaming,
nor forget that God is still there beside you
Keep on being you,and know the completeness of who you are,
and who you shall one day become.
