The Keys to Heaven

Matthew 16:17-19

Blessings to you for knowledge you hold,
From flesh and blood it was not revealed;
Rather by the Word you have been told,
God had shown where it was concealed.

Our Father in Heaven has made you wise,
With a knowledge that is solid as a rock;
That sees through the deceit and the lies,
That Satan says through fallacious talk.

Just as with Peter being a cornerstone,
In establishing a base for a new church;
That gives others a means for to atone,
Helping the lost souls in their search.

God already gave us the keys to Heaven,
The keys that will unlock its front door;
The key to unlock wisdom He has given,
The key that you use if you are pure.

Whatever you did while here on earth,
Will be revealed when using the key;
Starting with the very day of your birth,
Both the good and bad for you to see.
