The Law of God

Galatians 3:19-23

Precisely just what is the law?
Rules made because of our sin;
Since humans have such a flaw,
That gets corrupted from within.

But until the coming of the seed,
Pass through angels to the One;
Being a go-between for any deed,
Then came the birth of the Son.

The law does not belie the Word,
No way since the law gives life;
As a guide from going wayward,
And a possibility of ridding strife.

All was sin as per the Scripture,
Then undertaken by Jesus Christ;
Those with faith be given rapture,
For belief why He was sacrificed.

Before faith sin made us a slave,
Under the law we had no choice;
Since life ended lying in the grave,
But now we can eternally rejoice.
