His Holy Spirit

Isaiah 48:16-19

Come hither unto me and give an ear,
It was not kept a secret from the start;
Since coming into existence I was here,
God sent me with His Spirit in my heart.

He takes up our cause for He is the Lord,
Guiding and teaching you for your profit;
By following and abiding in His Word,
And within your heart will be His Spirit.

As long as you heed to just what I say,
Then your peace would be like a stream;
Gently flowing into your righteous bay,
As His Spirit fills your heart with esteem.

Your seed would then be just like sand,
While your offspring would be like dust;
For settling down in your inherited land,
Within His Spirit that you put your trust.

Your name shall be inscribed into stone,
When you follow His Word and abide;
While your heart holds His royal throne,
As His Holy Spirit is remaining inside.
