Poems of Love, Inspiration, Heartache and Pain

King

A King you are in my eyes
that is what I see
A man with so many qualities
he can't be anything but
a true King.

A King has riches, diamonds, silver and gold
you don't need these things
to capture my heart and reach the deepest
depth of my soul.

If I can entitle my King
to what he shall have
He shall have a woman who stands by his side.

She picks you up when your down
shares your smiles and your frowns
money doesn't matter it's  just a
materialistic thing.

I shall shower my King with all
the gifts I have.
Love, for he who loves is loved
Respect, what you receive when given
Honesty, What good are we if we cannot
trust one another?

If my King shall wear threads instead of
the finest fabric money can buy
each piece will be sewn and threaded with
a great amount of pride.

For each thread that binds your clothes
it surrounds your heart
carrying strength and power.

The strength you have is my strong embrace
the power you feel is never abused or misplaced.

Know that a King such as you
with skin of gold, and a heart so pure
you have leaders and not followers,
believers and not doubters.

I stand by my King who sees me for me
I am equal to you
not above or beneath you.

A King you are
that is what I see
A man with so many qualities
he can't be anything else but a true King.
