Poems of Love, Inspiration, Heartache and Pain

Hear My Cry

I plead and cry 'till tears
fall no more trying to find
the strength to make me whole.
Why must I live a life of Destruction?
As human as I am I am slowly corrupting.

I get down on my knees and pray to thee
to stop all the hurt and pain inflicted on me.
My wounds so visible scars so deep.
It's a wonder I still have an ounce of life
running through me.

I plead and cry 'till tears fall no more
I have been drained ...
I have been scorned going through an ongoing
battle which is like the unknown.

It's been this way for quite some time
the nagging the screaming
my loss and perception of time.

Lord I say hear my cries
I am pleading and crying 'till tears
fall no more.
The serenity prayer becomes that of
a lullaby.

My world is crashing, slowly coming to
an end.
Emotionally drained I haven't the strength
to fight the battle again.

Lord I say hear my cries
I am pleading and crying till tears
fall no more.
The serenity prayer becomes that of a lullaby.
