since 911 one year has come to pass

since 911 one year has come to pass: the memories of that day,are etched in our hearts to forever last:       a day always that america will remember: the year 2001,the 11th of september:       it was a devastating blow: a deadly decinegrating glow:       4-hijacked planes full of innocent passengers exploded: then the terrorist response laughed and gloated:       america since has been on high alert: we will not tolerate innocent people to be hurt:       stillin the back of all our mind: we think how could anyone be so evil and unkind:       we do not know if the terrorist again will strike: in afaganistan we still continue to fight:       we all throughout the world pray for peace: in the war torn middle east:       we just hope israel and palestine: together peace they can find:       in america our guard has to be protected: now the unexpected has to be expected:       safety in your own home is hard to find: you cant even believe a person if they walk with a white cane blind:       the integrity of people is at a low: it is so hard to trust anyone you dont know:       to god in prayer the world must turn: gods compassion and love we all must learn:       since 911 of a year ago: america we are recovering from the most deadly blow:       the lives of our children have forever changed: the way we all think and act has all been rearranged:       nothing is for sure anymore: but in america our strength shall endure:       together more than ever in america we stand: from the mountains to the deserts to the ocean sands:                                                                                       911--WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER:  THAT DAY OF SEPTEMBER:          written  9 august 2002  jdj
