Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson
Heaven's Gate
When I look upon the celestial skies,
beyond the stars and galaxies,
I see its wonderful pristine beauty,
I gaze in amazement upon the pearly gates of Heaven's door
I see angels flittering about doing their immortal chores,
God's awesome glory shining upon their halos of gold.
I search deep within my heart,
wondering what good I have done,
were my sins too great
keeping me from Heaven's gate?
I hear upon my mortal ear a soft musical voice calling,
His words echo in my heart and flood my soul with light,
I gratefully hear the beautiful words of the Savior
You may enter in my good and faithful son,
for your sins have been forgiven.
A poem about entering Heaven.Though we can do nothing to earn our way in,
there is a way made for us through the Savior's sacrificial blood.God bless everyone who knows the sweet peace of Christ's redeeming love.
