Who I Am

With the speed of light my thoughts turn the first corner and then stop.
Ahead I see myself - naked without a thought.
Screaming helps not - nor chases away this thing of my past.
Hopelessly I plead for change.
Lights bright all around point at me - no where to hide.
I run only to hit a blank wall of pure, pointless emptiness.
Screaming I wake to Mom calling me to get ready for school...
