Ethereal Moments The Poetry of Donavon Scott Vinson
Forest Follies
When the moon rises brightly over the forest,
the nymphs and fairies come out to play,
silvery moonlight glitters as gold off their shimmering wings,
their laughter resonates off the hills like church bells,
the cheerful chatter of the nymphs echo through the forest,
as they dance merrily round the mulberry bushes,
to the melodious tunes of the fairies,
played on golden flutes,
such fun do these creatures of the night have.
They dance, chatter and sip the dew from the wild flowers,
as though they have no cares in the world,
for tonight is a celebration for the rising of the full moon.
