Be Glad in the Lord

Philippians 4:1-5

My joy and crown are strong in the Lord,
So stand fast as well my precious treasure;
As your mind stays centered on the Word,
So our faith in the Lord is of good measure.

For we must be on the same frame of mind,
With helping each other in all of our deeds;
And those who labor in the Gospel to find,
Have a bountiful harvest from their seeds.

Let it be known that they are not forgotten,
Their names are entered in the book of life;
As the generations that you have begotten,
Will be relieved from the toils and strife.

So be glad in the Lord both night and day,
Give God your love showing that you care;
Be glad in the Lord your God again I say,
Praising Him often through every prayer.

Be ever so humble so others will know,
And your gentle behavior is understood;
Just how much unto God that you owe,
As well as how much God has been good.
