Spreading the SeedMark 4:13-20 We know that the seed is the Word, Non believers think this is absurd; But the truth is in what you read, As you go about sowing your seed. Sowing the Word as they give an ear, Fertilizing the plant while they hear; Satan comes trying to kill the plant, With deception as he tries to enchant. Just as for the seed planted on stone, Undernourished and on their own; Satan ensures they whither and die, Done by his deceit along with his lie. Seeds of doubt might land in thorns, While trying to root the devil scorns; Daunting growth as the thorns choke, Whither and die within their cloak There is no enjoyment for that seed, Resulting from Satan and his deed; In rocks or thorns can not grow roots, For a bountiful harvest of fresh fruits.
