1000 --letters i wrote :

on a naval ship back in 1984: i was deployed away from my family once more:       out doing maneuvers,training in peace for war: that was my 20 years in  the corps: letters we mailed home we could mail for free:so that was great for me:       i wrote home each day: that was my way:       i have written home a letter from every clime and place: never did i have time to waste:       when this deployment was nearing the end: the word went out-ONLY 4- DAYS LEFT FOR FREE MAIL TO SEND:       well ya know im crazy: didnt have no time to waste and be lazy:       for four days i wrote almost night and day: and 1,000 letters to the post office found their way:       I SET MY GOAL TO WRITE A LETTER GRAND: AFTER A FOUR DAY ORDEAL I WAS TOO WEAK TO STAND:       so 1,000 letters to my wife and kids i mailed free: so im kinda crazy can ya see:    jdj  09-17-2005
