When my heart feels sad and all alone,
and my soul feels the pain of solitude,
then shall my thoughts return to you.
If my day goes poorly and life seems too much,
and all my hopes and dreams have faded with the sunset,
then shall my thoughts return to you.
When the decisions of life take their toll,
and I know not what to do,
then shall my thoughts return to you.
How can I live without you in my life,
I shall never know but I must keep living even if all alone,
but my thoughts still return to you.
Wherever I may be no matter what I may do,
whatever roads I must travel in this life,
my thoughts shall always be with you.
