Life's Secret

Someday, I shall depart this old
earth on a spaceship called death,
on a one way journey into eternity.

Shed no tears, for I have lived life
to the fullest. I have accomplished
what most men dare dream of.
I’ve unlocked the secret of life
itself.

I understand the cycle…
Life is everlasting. Proof is
in a blade of grass as it lives
and dies, lives and dies, lives
and dies and that’s the secret
and the reason…
Nothing less and nothing more!

Life, how beautifully simple it is!
