Communion with the LordJeremiah 29:8-12 Thus has said the Lord of Host, Let not prophets try to deceive; Pay no mind of a talking ghost, They might want you to believe. So whatever they may proclaim, Our Lord God has sent them not; Even said they come in His name, Another purpose that they sought. So this is what our Lord has said, He will take pity with good intent; Having the bread of life to be fed, To turn away from evil and repent. You shall go on crying unto Him, As you are summoning in prayer; He hears you as things look grim, In explaining your grief you bear. For the Lord has thoughts of peace, In giving you hope at the very end; Of a love and joy that never cease, More than just God but a friend.
