Revelation of Christ

I Peter 1:3-9

Praise be to God the Father of our Lord,
Jesus Christ made flesh from the Word;
Through His mercy has given new birth,
To the inhabitants here on planet earth.

A living hope in Christ from the dead,
Nourishment from His flesh we are fed;
A heritage fair, holy and forever new,
While He is waiting in Heaven for you.

Whoever is without faith has only wept;
But those of faith through God are kept,
For salvation to be seen on the last day,
Being guided up the Heavenly highway.

You have a great joy through all of this,
Knowing you share in the Heavenly bliss;
Though with the tribulation of the stress,
In testing your faith God is still to bless.

Your true faith greater value than gold,
That is priceless not be traded or sold;
Enlightened at the revelation of Christ,
As love given from who was sacrificed.
