Raven

I see you sat there raven
Jet black upon my sill
Watching very closely now
Stood you are so still

Mock me you do raven
In this hour of my tear
Within my desperation
Why have you come near

Broken heart still beating
Perhaps it called you close
In hopes of life receding
A victory for you, suppose

Your caw does break this silence
For you think it is the end
Do go away black raven
Do not darken my sill again
