Is there a right time for good-bye?
I wonder through the tears I cry
Turning my thoughts to a special place
Where I hold the vision of your face
Life can take us quickly by surprise
Alter the fates before our eyes
Though I wander all alone these days
You are here with me, always
Life is like a book with pages to turn
Every day is like a lesson to learn
Mistakes are made along the way
As forgiveness in kind is found each day
What joy is there in the word good-bye
To a person that still lives inside
With so many sweet times to remember
Now locked away safe in my heart forever
