Anew Revelation

Ephesians 2:1-6

God gave you life when you were dead,
Through all your wrongdoing and sin;
Now that you have eternal life instead,
Sending His Holy Spirit to purify within.

You were living your life in the past,
Pursuing the ways of present day earth;
Enjoying the pleasures that did not last,
Before experiencing a spiritual rebirth.

We all at a time lived pleasurable lust,
Lured by desires of our flesh and mind;
Obsession that was making it a must,
Nearly hypnotized you being spellbind.

But God in His mercy with great love,
Through Christ has given us salvation;
Up from the grave and ascended above,
Showing us realms of a new revelation.

As Christ to bring us back from death,
To take our place with Him in Heaven;
And by His grace after our last breath,
Unto us eternal life that is to be given.
