Salvation by GraceEphesians 2:1-10 Christ gave you life when you were dead, Through all of your wrongdoing and sins; And you were living in the past instead, After the ways of the present world within. As you gave pleasure to the lord of the air, That is causing disobedience throughout; Giving way to desires of the flesh to share, As well as some lustful thoughts no doubt. The punishment of God was waiting for us, But God in His mercy through a great love; Even when we were dead He gave a plus, By His grace having salvation from above. Back from death and are seated in Heaven, With Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior; In time be made clear of the wealth given, Of His grace and mercy about our failure. Through faith you have salvation by grace, As an endowment which is given by God; Not deeds of any man in glory to embrace, But by Christ Jesus who we honor and laud.
