Naomi stands atop her pristine soapbox,
enumerating the commandments.
Akin to Moses standing upon Sinai's mount.
Her fiery rhetoric is Pauline in nature.
Filled with thermal passion,
equipolent to the laws of love.
Naomi's ecstatic,theocratic,powerful words,
on faith and forgiveness burn within
my darkened soul.
Eroding the disspassionate defenses of my heart,
bringing enlightenment to my dark mind.
Urging me to transcend the mediocrity of my religion,
to seek the timeless truths and precepts of Christ.
To return to the loving dictates of Almighty God.
