a child who's days are numbered

a child knows when his days are numbered:
from doctors and nurses and family, constantly he is being told. he's going to be okay and reassured:

a doctor can't just come out and tell a 5 year old child, you have terminal cancer, and within a month or two, your gonna die:
to be gentle, you must try:

that news a child could not comprehend:
so with a child, you tell half truth, half pretend:

you can't throw on a bucket of water cold:'
you have to gently warm the water, but don't scold:

but the child will read in your eyes:
that soon they are going to die:

they will figure it out on there own:
just reassure them, that always 24 hours a day you will be there and never leave them alone:

it's not fair for a child to die so young, they should be in school, out running and playing having fun:
when a child dies it leaves you feeling numb:

when a child says he sees angels watching over him from above:
then you feel the overwhelming prescence of gods love:

when a child says he saw jesus in his dream:
his eyes light up it seems:

when a child says he is not afraid to die:
because he's going to heaven high:

when a child says don't cry when i'm gone:
i'm going where i belong:

i'm going to heaven with my beholder:
don't worry mommy, i will be looking over your shoulder:
