When You PrayMatthew 6:5-15 When you pray do not be as a fake, As some only go through the motion; For the motive is for their own sake, But for God having no serious notion. When you pray go into your room, And pray onto your Father in secret; Close the door far from the gloom, And your reward will be appropriate. When you pray know what you seek, Do not clutter it with empty words; Remember to stay humble and meek, Ending it in Christ name afterwards. When you pray ensure you proclaim, Our Father who resides in Heaven; Truly hallowed is His sacred name, And ask for your sins to be forgiven. When you pray ask to stop temptation, And for to be delivered from evil; Give onto His glory your admiration, And His Kingdom forever be viable.
