Servant of the Lord

Joshua 24:14-18

Leave and go in fear of the Lord,
Be His servant with a true heart;
Live your life within His Word,
Then never to deviate or depart.

If it seems amiss to be His servant,
Decide whose servant you will be;
Maybe a big star makes you fervent,
Or a lust of money gives you glee.

For my family that is in our house,
As servants of the Lord we are;
For myself as well as my spouse,
The Lord God is our guiding star.

So many wonders before our eyes,
As He ensures to keep me secure;
Flowing wisdom to make me wise,
A positive outlook that I feel sure.

I know by the end of another day,
After all has been said and done;
Being His servant I will not stray,
Because God is second to none.
