Poetic Verses Of Love And Sorrow
Sitting In The Park
"Sitting In The Park"
Sitting on a bench
Alone in the park
I sat through the day
Until it was dark
Remembering the years
So long ago
Still I wonder
Where did they go
Many happy memories
Far in the past
Little did I know
They would never last
Much happiness I've had
Throughout the years
Even with the heartaches
Sadness and tears
Fortunate am I
To have many friends
Some stay for awhile
Others, till our world ends
Never would we survive
Without each other
Throughout our life
We need one another
To all my friends
I wish for a happy tomorrow
With no more troubles
No more sorrow
In this life
Love each other
For all of us
Are sister and brother.
This poem is dedicated
to all my good friends at
poetrypoem and beyond
