The How and Why of ChristLuke 12:49-59 He came to cast fire upon the earth, And that may have already been lit; For ever since the day of His birth, Trying to get people spiritually fit. A baptism that Christ had undergone, Kept holding back until complete; Then a radiant glow like a neon, No longer with being so discreet. He did not come to earth for peace, Or in wishing all men a good will; Rather to divide as wars increase, In order for the prophecy to fulfill. Father against son, son against dad, The same for daughter and mother; With entire households being mad, In just wanting to fight each other. We interpret the earth and the sky, A good understanding how it works; But today unknowing the reason why, And sounding like a bunch of jerks.
