Diana Only Rests (In Memory Of Princess Lady Diana 1997)

One morning you passed away
well others may only sleep.
Your life it ended at 36
and now the world must weep.

Flowers and cards piled up high
sending messages of our sorrow.
Your beautiful smile will ne missed
today and tomorrow.

You tried to help the world
in so many different ways.
You touched the hearts of many
each and every day.

And Elton John changed the words
to a song to show how he cared.
Why was my life not taken
so yours could be spared?

Keep your love and peace
and in heaven you'll be the best.
Some of us will continue your work
forever as you rest.
