As i sit to write my life's story,
my mind dimly recalls the rambunctious days,
of my unambitious youth.
My mind freely distorts the truth,
of my past adventures,
augmenting accomplishments,
with great fallacies of glory.
I cannot face the failures of my youth,
so within my unkempt mind I create great glories,
overturning the awful truth of my ineptitude,
with the greatest of flair and exuberant lies,
never facing up to the dreadful truth of who i once was,
and have sadly become.
