My Dark Writings

ALL Alone

Joshua Thompson
December 16 2005

Don't turn away,
I have been here too long to lose you,
Please try to stay,
And prevent me succumbing
To the dark side of me.
This desperate insanity,
This hate that is ruining my life.

I see you there,
Wondering if I still know you,
I know you still care,
But just like me your far to gone,
To the endless void,
All those broken hopes and dreams,
That once held you through the pain.

Here we both are,
We both have been here before,
Dwelling on the scars,
Thought brought us to such a lonely place.
Pleading for out lives,
Trying to find something to make,
Life worth fighting for.

Soon were both lost,
To the chaos of our own minds,
No one counted the cost
Of the sickness they were feeding to us.
All the words that they said.
The deeds that they did,
That eventually conquered our souls,

Tonight we both leave,
Hand in hand we die together.
No gift do we receive,
As we end our tragic lives.
Finally we have relief,
From the pain life brought us,
We are now asleep.

Were all-alone.
Were all-alone.
