Poetic Verses Of Love And Sorrow
Highway Of Life
"Highway Of Life"
Wandering life's highway
With nowhere to go
Only the memories
With nothing to show
Searching for a dream
That's never there
How long must I travel
This road to nowhere
Looking for a reason
To justify where I've been
Finding many excuses
Over and over again
Tired and weary
So long is this road
How much longer
Can I carry this load
Always wondering
Which road to take
Looking for the right one
Not to make a mistake
Be careful of the signs
That take you the wrong way
On the highway to nowhere
You'll spend many a day.
