A Joyous PraisePraise be to the Lord our God, For He has come to set us free; And so we give honor and laud, Since He opened our eyes to see. Lifting up the horn of salvation, Against those who are full of hate; Filling us with joy and jubilation, In knowing about their final fate. We do acts of mercy to our fathers, And keep in mind His Holy Word; Telling all our sisters and brothers, Proclaim to ensure all have heard. The promise made unto Abraham, That we would be free from fear; Has become true through the lamb, If our praise and worship is sincere. In righteousness and holy living, Before Him through all our days; He will be merciful and forgiving, As we journey along His pathway.
