Rise Again

I feel the flames dancing
As if cleansing my skin
Removing remnants of your love
Purging my soul of sin

I embrace this new beauty
Of a heart clean and pure
As wind takes away ashes
Of what was mine to endure

I am renewed in destruction
Pain torments me no more
Just as the phoenix is reborn
I too once more will soar

I feel the flames dancing

So I can rise again
