A Heavenly Voyage

Aboard the Ship of God

There is one thing that I am sure,
Why I have been tasked by God;
No one who reads this is so pure,
And proclaim not to be flawed.

Every single one of us has sin,
From His glory have fallen short;
And we are so corrupted within,
Prohibited from the Heavenly port.

Not one of us has free passage,
From this island we call earth;
Aboard His ship for a voyage,
Without a ticket of second birth,

A trip aboard a Heavenly ship,
That takes us beyond this life;
Only if we utter from our lip,
A confession of the sinful knife.

Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord,
You will be saved after you repent;
Then live life through His Word,
And your ticket will be sent.
